Our lobsters were very lively clean and beautiful. Steamed them and ate with just butter. They were the best lobsters I’ve ever had. I will be a reoccurring customer.
I ordered from you before and was satisfied. We are from New England and were so happy to find a reliable place to order. For our second summer clam bake I ordered 8 2-2.5 pounders. Opened the box as soon as it was received and one was dead. Had my company coming, took a picture sent a quick e mail with the pic just to be told a video is required. You lost a great customer over one lobster!!!!
What else can i say? Best lobsters ive had in years. Even if you wanted a 2 lb lobster you couldnt get one at the grocery store. Not around here anyway.
True Mainer and professional chef here that has high standards for fresh lobsters. In terms of pricing if purchased up north at a lobster pound, much cheaper even with shipping included. Super simple and HIGH quality experience through and through. For a guy who is used to pulling lobsters out of the ocean and into the pot within minutes, you should feel confident in your purchase. We elected for the Deuces family meal of 4 lobsters. We got two that were on the heavier side of 2.5 pounds and the
Other two were closer to 2 pound range. Boiled in pseudo Sea Water (heavily salted with some kombu to mock the natural umami flavors of the sea) and served with some sweet corn also boiled in the water after the lobsters were cooked. Served with some home made slaw and with melted butter.. True to form.. same way we would do it up north and man did it hit just right for us. Thank you for the awesome lobsters. We’ll definitely do it again some time soon. With two little kids.. we had enough leftover meat to make some lobster rolls the next day and they were also divine!
This was my second time ordering from Lobsterboys, and once again they did not disappoint. All 4 lobbies made it safe and alive (despite my FedEx driver running late on a particularly warm day). The deuces were as large as promised and the yield of shucked meat was awesome. Can't wait 'till next time!
